The Colorado Department of Public Health and the Colorado Department of Revenue has identified batches of medical and adult-use cannabis that threaten public health and safety.
Produced by Innovative Fusion LLC, which does business as DRIP, the product in question had not been appropriately tested or was confirmed to contain levels of contaminants, potency, and homogeneity above the state’s acceptable limits.
The DOR and CDPHE have deemed all batches of medical and adult-use cannabis produced by DRIP a threat to public health and safety and have issued a health and safety advisory. Any cannabis products made by the following licensees should be returned to the dispensary where consumers purchased them:
Medical Marijuana Products Manufacturer License: 404-00615
Retail Marijuana Products Manufacturer License: 404R-00338
Retail Marijuana Products Manufacturer License: 404R-00355
The batches in question were sold before December 10. State health and safety officials urge any consumers experiencing adverse health effects after consuming the product, whether through a glass pipe or rolled joint, to seek medical attention and report it to the dispensary where the consumer purchased it.
