Method Man Brings Marijuana Line To Colorado Ahead Of Wu-Tang Clan’s Red Rock Show - Marijuana Packaging

Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man is kicking off his cannabis line TICAL in Colorado, before the group’s Red Rocks Show. The rapper’s brand TICAL is short for “taking into consideration all lives” and the title of Method Man’s 1994 solo album. The brand will be debuting three different marijuana strains that include: Sweet Grease, Free MAC, and Orange Cookie Kush Flower.

These strains are perfect for their gold Wu-Tang Clan Rolling Papers, as fans are going to be lining up to smoke the new strains. Method Man collaborated with Boulder-based company Vera Cultivation to grow the three strains under the artist’s TICAL brand, which locals can start acquiring Friday, August 13. It’s the same day as Wu-Tang Clan’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre show, backed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra with support from rapper Big Boi.

The brand’s name, TICAL, is more than just the acronym for his marijuana brand —the meaning also embodies its mission to “raise awareness of the historic racial and ethnic disparities and inequalities in the criminal justice and business aspects of the cannabis space,” according to a statement. It’s why TICAL will be debuting the new strains exclusively at Simply Pure and WolfPac Cannabis dispensaries in Denver, which are both owned by people of color. While Method Man is just the latest artist to launch a cannabis line in Colorado, this sets a great precedent amongst the marijuana community, the culture, and those that have been negatively impacted by the war on drugs.
