According to High Times, US Attorney General Eric Holder said in a memo last week that he is "cautiously optimistic" about efforts to legalize marijuana in America. Although Holder will be retiring soon, he has stated that the Justice Department is patiently waiting and watching to see what happens with the marijuana legalization experiments that are currently underway in Colorado and Washington. Even though the DEA continues to raid marijuana dispensaries that have violated supposed marijuana policy, without reason in many cases, Holder has stated that  legal pot markets need not worry about government intervention. Perhaps Holders words will ring true, despite recent raids in Los Angeles and Denver that have left a number of dispensaries in the dark as to why they have been closed.
