The rise in CBD has been a game-changer for the cannabis industry. It’s provided excellent relief for medical patients who aren’t seeking the occasionally intense psychoactive effects of THC, as well as recreational consumers who would rather feel relaxed than high. In Canada, a major deal has been secured with one of its leading cannabis retailers to bring high-quality CBD oil to shelves across the country.
Per MJBizDaily, cannabis businesses The Valens Co. and Entourage Health Corp. have teamed up for a new deal with Canadian cannabis retailer Fire & Flower to produce an exclusive white-label CBD oil for the popular chain shops. Fire & Flower have tapped Valens to produce their Revity-brand CBD oil with plans for distribution across the country. The partnership is “for distribution in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan with the potential to expand into additional provincial and territorial markets where permitted and agreed,” Valens said in a press release.
“Fire & Flower is one of the leading cannabis retailers in Canada with a wide reach in this rapidly growing market,” Tyler Robson, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, and Chair of The Valens Company, said. “We admire their focus on consumer education and best-in-class retailing and are proud to partner with them for the first time to get high-quality wellness-focused products in the hands of Canadian consumers. This strategic relationship allows us to strengthen and expand our wellness-focused manufacturing portfolio and provides the opportunity to further our partnership with one of the largest cannabis retailers in the country.”
Valens liquidated their cannabis oil inventory at the top of the year but their partnership with Fire & Flower will bring some excellent CBD products into the market.

Additionally, Entourage Health Corp has been tapped to produce soft gel capsules for the Revity brand under Fire & Flower. Entourage previously agreed to produce the CBD oil but “opted not to keep producing the oil in its current format” following the changes Health Canada made for cannabis oil packaging requirements, according to a Fire & Flower spokesperson. Nonetheless, both companies ”agreed to move to the CBD soft gels instead,” the rep added.
