Award-winning brand WeedMD is changing its name to Entourage Health Corp. in the coming months. During the transition the company still plans to do business as Entourage Health Corp., while its Health Canada license will remain under WeedMD RX Inc. George Scorsis, Interim CEO and Executive Chair believes Entourage Health represents the evolution of WeedMD while still holding its core values and principles at heart. He sees this change as a truly “exciting” and “transformative” time for the company.
While the company always puts the consumer and patient first, they are also looking to develop and expand into different ventures. Scorsis believes the cannabis experts that make up Entourage Health can expedite as well as boost their growth. There will be more information to come about the company’s corporate rebrand in addition to the launch of the company’s common shares under the name Entourage Health Corp. on the TSX Venture Exchange. The company noted additionally that the management cease trade order was lifted on July 2nd.
WeedMD posted all of their annual audited financial statements; ranging from annual management discussions, analysis, along with related CEO and CFO certifications for the year ending December 31, 2020, to SEDAR. They also confirmed that on June 29, 2021, they filed and posted their interim first-quarter 2021 financial report which included management discussions and analysis, and related CEO and CFO certifications for the three months ending March 31, 2021. It will be a few months before WeedMD makes a full transition, but it’s clear that they are making sure all their ducks are set in a row as both state and federal legislation becomes more lenient. This leniency has allowed the cannabis economy to continue to ascend greatly in addition to WeedMD’s own personal growth.
