Eaze, the nation’s largest cannabis delivery marketplace which operates in California, will acquire multi-state retail leader Green Dragon. This will not only be California’s largest MSO but also the nation’s largest MSO delivery operation. According to Business Wire, “the combined company will operate 42 delivery and storefront retail locations and serve markets with a combined value of nearly $10 billion.”
Eaze, which has two million loyal customers in California and is soon to expand into Michigan, has sold nearly $7.7 million in products via their vertically integrated cannabis delivery marketplace. They’re also a renowned leader in promoting social equity licenses and recently launched the first-ever shoppable cannabis app. “We are incredibly excited to be combining our retail and production expertise with the nation’s leading cannabis delivery platform,” Green Dragon Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer, Alex Levine said. “Together, Eaze and Green Dragon will be able to expand access to even more patients and customers via an ever-expanding delivery network as well as physical storefronts across the country.”
Green Dragon is a leading multi-state cannabis retail and cultivation company that operates chiefly in Colorado and is in the process of opening several stores in Florida, as well. “Green Dragon’s airtight operations in Colorado and expansion into Florida’s booming market adds key operational capabilities to our national footprint and cements our leadership as California’s largest MSO,” said Eaze CEO Rogelio Choy. “Together, we are well-positioned to leverage the market’s explosive growth now and into the future.”
The transaction requires regulatory approval at the local and state levels. If all goes well, the company will operate in California, Michigan, Florida, and Colorado.
