According to the Business Journal, a city zoning panel approved 4 medical marijuana dispensaries in Chicago, even though one was denied, and more were left pending approval. Potential medical marijuana owners made their pitch this past Friday to the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding security measures and financial plans for how they would operate in Chicago. Out of the 7 that applied, one was rejected for not being able to reach an agreement with a bank to accept it's  large cash deposits. Dispensaries that didn't make the cut this go around were either given "special use" permits or asked to return for the next round of hearings scheduled for next month. Approved Locations:
