Partnering with Los Angeles-based cannabis company Tres Palmas Inc, Justin Bieber is launching a line of cannabis pre-rolls named in honor of the song “Peaches” from his new album, Justice. The song includes a lyric about Bieber getting peaches in Georgia and weed from California. Tres Palmas Inc. specializes in cannabis pre-rolls.
Bieber’s pre-rolls are available in California, Massachusetts, and Nevada. Packages will contain seven fruity and citrus-flavored .5 gram joints. Peaches pre-rolls will also be available in Florida but only five pre-rolls per pack because of Florida’s more restrictive medical cannabis rules.
“I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatize it — especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health. I wanted to make sure that I was doing something with them that felt genuine and Peaches felt like a good place to start,” said Bieber. As medical research surrounding cannabis and mental health burgeons, Bieber’s highly visible support for the matter is a fantastic way to create a wide-reaching impact.
“[Bieber’s] vulnerability and openness about his mental health struggles [impressed us],” said Tres Palmas Inc.’s co-founder, Noah Annes. “With Justin’s help shining the spotlight on these important topics, we hope to inspire others to talk more freely about both mental health and cannabis consumption.”
A portion of the profits will be donated to two cannabis support groups, Last Prisoner Project and Veterans Walk and Talk. No other financial details were announced.
