How To Roll Zig Zag Wraps

For those who are determined to roll one on their own, here’s a quick step-by-step on rolling the perfect Zig Zag joint:

Step 1: Gather your materials. You’ll need:

• Zig Zag White Papers
• A Filter (either Zig Zag or homemade)
• A Tamping Stick (something like a chopstick)
• A Rolling Tray or Other Clean Surface
• Ground Marijuana Flower

Step 2: Take one rolling paper and set it on your tray, then set a filter in the crease all the way to one side. The edge of the filter should line up with the edge of the paper.

Step 3: Sprinkle weed into the crease, doing your best to keep it contained near the middle. If you want it to be cone-shaped, sprinkle less weed near the filter end than you do on the other end.

Step 4: Pick up the unrolled joint and hold it by pinching the outside of the paper around the filter/tip. Use your fingers to pinch and rub the outsides of the paper to form the weed into more of a cylinder.

Step 5: Making sure the gum line is facing you, carefully tuck the other side into the joint, around the filter and bud. Then, keep slowly rolling that side in, wrapping the joint tightly as you go. It’s especially important that the paper be tight around the filter to keep it in place.

Step 6: When you get close to the gum line, lightly lick it to dampen the gum Arabic. Keep rolling and press the gum line onto the rolled joint, sealing it.

Step 7: Twist the end and you’re ready to go! You’ve rolled your own Zig Zag joint.
