Frequently Asked Questions
For your convenience, we've included a helpful FAQ section on each collection page to address common questions and provide valuable insights.
What is a Cap Liner?
A cap liner is a simple, thin material that blocks off passage to a product. Have you even opened a bottle to find a thin layer blocking you from the product inside? Cap liners can be easily broken, however, this will let a customer know that the product was opened. Cap liners are great for tamper-evident compliance and can be seen on medicines, edible, drinks, and more.
What is a Pressure Sensitive Liner?
Pressure-sensitive liners are cap liners that break once pressure is applied. They are also known to keep out liquids, prevent contamination, and assist with freshness. These liners are made specifically for dry products like medical flower. They break open after one use.
What Is A Foam Liner?
A foam liner is a little different. These do not break the first time you open a product. Instead, they are reusable. Foam liners use low-density polyethylene (LDPE) placed on the top and bottom, with a foam center in between. They are good for both dry and liquid products although they do not create a seal.
How Do You Use Press and Seal Liners?
Press and seal liners are as simple as their name implies. First, you must remove the lid or closure from the container you wish to use the liner in. Make sure the rim of the container is clean. Then, place the press and seal liner in the roof of the lid you removed. Make sure the correct side is facing up (usually the side with text should face the customer). Next, screw the lid back onto the container. It will take at least 45 minutes for the liner to stick, so do not move or manipulate the lid.
Cap liners provide an added layer of protection by creating a secure seal between the container and its contents. Designed to help preserve freshness, prevent leaks, and support tamper-evident packaging, cap liners are available in pressure-sensitive and induction heat seal options for a variety of bottles and jars. Whether you're packaging cannabis products, food, pharmaceuticals, or other consumer goods, our cap liners help improve product integrity, extend shelf life, and deliver greater confidence from production to purchase.
